Uh-oh, another manipulative and completely contrived reality TV programme to get addicted to. This one looks utterly delicious. Three ladies battle it out interning at Marie Claire magazine. Do they have what it takes? Will they remain colour-coordinated throughout? More importantly, can they Run in Heels? These are the questions that will keep me intently focused on the series for the next few weeks, laughing at their incompetence, mocking their bumbling naiveté and groaning at their incessant need to recount their every feeling. Out Loud. ‘But you don’t understand, I want this job, I need this job, I AM THIS JOB’. Much like the ‘interning’ Lauren and Whitney did at Teen Vogue, there is very little work to be done, and of that work, very little common sense is applied, which clearly makes for great car-crash TV. With little to do and everything to say, the bitching reaches fever pitch: ‘She only got asked to do the job because she’s pretty and she has the audacity to walk around barefoot’. Nonetheless, I’m going to watch it as the clothes are awesome – particularly Talita. One to watch.
